Bush, Weldon and Chimps

These are the things on my angry, timid mind this lovely Friday afternoon:

  1. The unintended irony in almost everything the President says.
  2. GOP Rep. Curt Weldon (Pa-7) being called out for corruption and then the local paper, predictably, shooting the messenger.
  3. The life de-valuing, war loving lyrics to a country song. Combined with the Prez's "we fight them over there so we don't have to fight them over here" logic; I wonder if we're morally closer to suicide bombers than we think.

Hungary PM is Rumsfeld's 2nd Cousin, Senator Allen is My 3rd

Well, he's got to be related to at least someone near the White House, where off-the-record comments (and their related smears and leaks) are known to get people in lots of trouble.

...and speaking of childish behavior, world and American politics really need more name calling and lack of direct communication and misunderstanding - it's so helpful.

...and how about this guy - rather than admit to be "chosen", he wants to take a chance losing (which he will) in an election.

...and are these predictions right? They are at least funded by the right.

...and 2 years makes a big difference.

...and Democrat of the past two weeks: Patricia Madrid
